2022 was the year where women took up SPACE...outer space, that is! In 2022, we saw Nicole Aunapu Mann, the first Native American woman, and Kat Echazarreta, the first Mexican woman, both journey into space. Additionally, Girl Scout alum Jessica Watson became the first Black woman to serve aboard the International Space Station.— Girl Scouts (@girlscouts) July 20, 2022
