The Estes Park Trail Gazette reports that In 2012, Girl Scouts of the USA will celebrate its 100th anniversary. To show their pride in being 100 years old and going strong, Girl Scouts of Colorado is seeking to create a special license plate to honor the occasion. The proposed graphic design of the proposed plate has already been approved by the national organization.
Part of the process of getting the proposed plate presented to and approved by the state legislature is to obtain a total of 3,000 names of supporters of this effort. Officials are facing a very close deadline and are asking for public help. If you live in Colorado, please go here and advocate for the Colorado Girl Scout Licence Plate!
