Celebrating Leadership in Southern California

The Girl Scout Council of Orange County, CA, recently recognized twelve of Orange County's most outstanding women leaders at their inaugural Celebrate Leadership event on November 18. Proceeds from the sold out event will help provide life-changing leadership development experiences for nearly 25,000 Orange County Girl Scouts. The video posted below was produced exclusively for the event featuring Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, Northern Trust President, Betty Mower Potalivo and Orange County Girl Scouts, ages five - eighteen.

There is also a Celebrate Leadership Calendar that features all twelve of the Celebrate Leadership honorees. The women were joined in their calendar photos by twelve Orange County Girl Scouts. The girls were chosen because of their accomplishments and leadership skills. The honorees are all Girl Scout alumnae, as are two-thirds of the nation's most accomplished female leaders.
