A Texas family on vacation in Alaska recently lived through an incredible deadly situation. The Lantz family survived four days in a blizzard on a remote glacier after their sightseeing plane crashed. Mary Jan Lantz, 52, her husband, Fred Lantz, 60, and their two sons, survived for nearly three days in brutal conditions on the 5-mile-wide Knik Glacier at the northern edge of the rugged Chugach Mountains.
