1,500 Girl Scouts of all ages took part in the many activities that were offered.
Shannon Henry Kleiber, the author of “On My Honor,” a book about the Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low, was there to sign copies of her book and talk about Low’s life. Girls also met a female race car driver and a soccer player, ran through an outdoor obstacle course, did hands-on science experiments, climbed the rock wall, watched K-9 demos and took part in Zumba — a crowd favorite!
Girl Scout alumnae joined together on Saturday evening to reminisce about their Girl Scouting days, enjoy an evening campfire and sing-along, and take in the historical display.
