Girl Scouts Hold Technology Conference in Savannah

In Savannah, GA, WTOC TV 11 reports that adult Girl Scout volunteers from all over the country are in Savannah to learn about ways to bring technology to the Girl Scouts. Representatives from Dell, IBM and other groups were at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center to teach the leaders a number of new skills and talk about the ways technology is currently changing. They also learned ways to use social media.

"I think it is a great time to be a Girl Scout. Girl Scouts are involved in lots of different technologies. We have a large stem initiative, which is science, technology, education and math. There was a study done showing all the ways girls can involve themselves in technology," said Marah Rosenberg, project manager.
