Colorado Girl Scout Gold Award Recipients Honored at State Capitol

Denver's Channel 4 TV reports that Monday, April 9, 2012, was a big day at the Capitol in Denver for Girl Scouts across the state. The scouts were recognized Monday in the state House for earning the Gold Award, the highest award offered by the Girl Scouts. The girls are leaders among their peers and are helping make a difference in their community.

The Girl Scouts of Colorado Blog posted a video of the event.

Seventy-two Girl Scouts are receiving Girl Scouts’ highest award, the Gold Award, this spring in Colorado.
