THE COOKIES WERE FINE, THE INCENTIVE PRIZES WERE SAD. THOSE GIRLS WORK HARD AND SO DO THEIR PARENTS TO SELL THESE COOKIES ONLY TO WIN A "PENCIL". I THINK THE COUNCIL NEEDS TO DO A LITTLE BETTER. A PENCIL IS AN INSULT! I VOLUNTEER MY TIME IN NC PROGRAM AND I WAS SO UPSET WHEN I SAW THE PRIZES THESE GIRLS ARE RECEIVING THIS YEAR. YES, BROWNIES TEACH THEM RESPONSIBLITY, BUT THEY ARE STILL CHILDREN WHO LOVE TO WIN THINGS. I have never cared about the cost because I felt that I got a decent cookie and helped a good cause. I will probably continue to buy the cookies, but less in the future.
