Widespread storm devastation prompts Girl Scouts to Take Action

Girl Scouts of the USA is deeply saddened by the devastation that a strong, slow-moving storm system recently caused across a large part of our country, impacting several Girl Scout councils and their families.
We encourage girls to help those in need and act on their commitment to serving their communities by devising and engaging in Take Action projects.

We also want to remind Girl Scout members and volunteers that there are materials available that offer guidance to our Movement when disaster strikes. Please see "What a Girl Can Do When Disaster Strikes” for girls and “What Girl Scout Leadership Looks Like in Times of Disaster”for adults, both of which can be found via the “Girl Scouts and Disaster Relief” page on our site.
