Thirty-One Gifts Announces its Sponsorship of Girl Scouts' 100th Anniversary Experience Exhibition


Yahoo! News reports that Thirty-One Gifts announced its support of Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary Experience Exhibition at the Texas State Fair beginning September 28. 

The Ohio-based company’s sponsorship combines both monetary and product donations to support The Girl Scouts’ Exhibition Preview & Dinner “Under the Stars” as well as its State Fair Exhibit. Thirty-One representatives will also be on-hand during the fair to talk about its mission of celebrating women and girls for who they are and, like Girl Scouts, helping to build up young girls into our future leaders.

A Texas-sized experiential exhibition, The Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Experience, will bring together fairgoers and Girl Scouts across the United States to celebrate Girl Scout’s 100th anniversary at the 2012 State Fair of Texas from Sept. 28 through Oct. 21 in Dallas. Created and produced by Dallas-based Corporate Magic, the hands-on exhibition will animate the historic Texas Hall of State with unique technology, memory evoking experiences and opportunities to learn more about the first 100 years of Girl Scouts and the vision for the second century of Girl Scouting.

Thirty-One’s involvement with Girl Scouts began at the local level where Columbus-area troops toured its facility and spent an evening with leaders in the Thirty-One organization. Girl Scouts USA invited Thirty-One to be part of the 100 Year Exhibition because of the close alignment with their organizations’ missions.
