Arizona Girl Scouts Get a Special Thank You From Soldiers in Afghanistan!

The Girl Scouts of Arizona Cactus-Pine Blog reports that Ahwatukee Troop 612 recently received a thank-you note from soldiers in Afghanistan. Equipped with pictures and a fun message, these soldiers shared just how thankful they were for the cookies donated through the Gift of Caring program.

Look here for some pictures of the 26th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron here in Kandahar Afghanistan. They are a team of people that fly helicopters to rescue US military/NATO personnel when they are in need of getting off of the battlefield and evacuated to better medical care. They also fly local Afghani people and children as well.
