Tornado Relief Efforts: How Can You Help?

On April 27th and 28th, a string of tornadoes tore through several southern states, killing roughly 300 people and decimating entire neighborhoods. Tuscaloosa, Alabama was among the hardest hit.

Many people in the region are without shelter and other necessities right now. Here are several ways you can help.

You can donate money to the American Red Cross in several different ways. You can always do it through the Red Cross website. You can also text "REDCROSS" to the phone number 90999. After you send the text, $10 will be donated to the Red Cross, and the charge will appear on your next phone bill. You can also donate by phone or by mail.

Many churches and community centers are accepting donations of food and hygiene items. Here's a list of donation centers in the area.
