In South Carolina, The Reflector reports that Girl Scouts Troop 1746 recently took on a project of collecting used books, CDs and DVDs to be donated to The Magoo Room, a blind cat sanctuary. These items will be sold on Amazon and eBay to help support the sanctuary. More importantly, the girls learned how sturdy and capable the blind cats are, despite the common misconception that they are special-needs cats.This story is, to me, a double whammy - I was born in South Carolina and have a major love for cats!
