Last night, indie-darling Abigail Breslin, star of the filmLittle Miss Sunshine, was sworn in as a Girl Scout during a ceremony at the 20th Century Fox studio lot in Studio City, California. Abigail will also be starring in the upcoming movie, Nims Island.
Congratulations to the San Fernando Council for pulling off such a wonderful event!

Congratulations to you Abigail! Welcome to Girl Scouting -- my daughter Kelly will be bridging to Cadette Girl Scouts this Spring -- she is in 6th Grade currently and will be going to 7th Grade. Have lots of FUN making your Nims Island!

I want to comment about the most recent Girl Scout cookies. I have been eating Girl Scout cookies for years. It is very apparent to me that the Girl Scout cookies have been DOWNGRADED. The cookies no longer have the distinct strong flavor only found in "Girl Scout Cookies". Apparently much of the flavoring has been reduced......perhaps to save money? My family all agree that these cookies no longer Wow us the way they used to. I used to look forward to the annual Girl Scout cookies. Good job on thin mints, they are still great. Lemon and peanut butter have the least flavor...nothing like years past. Thank you. Sandy
i had no idea that abigail breslin was a girl scout that is the most coolest thing ever just like dakoda fanning is a girl scout that is so so so awsome i would love to look up to what them.
loved little miss sunshine. It was a great movie and I loved it when the little girl got to meet miss California! unfortunately i have not gotten the chance to see nims island yet. hope you like girls scouts Abigial!
