The Girl Scout Cookie Program Gets A New Audience On Fox Business Channel!

Yesterday, Denise Pesich, Vice President of Communications, along with some terrific girls from the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, represented Girl Scouts on Fox Business Channel’s show, Money for Breakfast, to discuss the business of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.

What did you think of this video? How do you feel it affects the general public's perception of the Girl Scout Cookie Program?

I sold girl scout cookies when I was a child and I have been buying girl scout cookies for many, many years. I have never cared about the cost because I felt that I got a decent cookie and helped a good cause. I will probably continue to buy the cookies, but less in the future. The cookies this year were terrible. I was very disappointed.

MY DAUGHTER IS A BROWNIE SCOUT AND WE SOLD COOKIES THIS YEAR. THE COOKIES WERE FINE, THE INCENTIVE PRIZES WERE SAD. THOSE GIRLS WORK HARD AND SO DO THEIR PARENTS TO SELL THESE COOKIES ONLY TO WIN A "PENCIL". I THINK THE COUNCIL NEEDS TO DO A LITTLE BETTER. A PENCIL IS AN INSULT! I VOLUNTEER MY TIME IN NC PROGRAM AND I WAS SO UPSET WHEN I SAW THE PRIZES THESE GIRLS ARE RECEIVING THIS YEAR. YES, BROWNIES TEACH THEM RESPONSIBLITY, BUT THEY ARE STILL CHILDREN WHO LOVE TO WIN THINGS. AND THESE PRIZES ARE CHEEZY AND CHEAP!
